On my way to Australia, I took a little month long layover in Hawaii, hoping amongst a few of the islands (The Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and Oahu). I of course did not just relax on a beach drinking mai tais with scantily clad women, but went hiking through the rain forests, climbed volcanoes, and visited other sightseeing spots while trying not to spend all my money.
I may one day get a trip report posted, but until then my pictures are available for perusal.
