Trekking in Nepal

March – April 2015

I headed to Nepal to do some of the classic treks in that country. I went independently which meant I did not get too far away from the popular routes. This hiking experience was very different from what I normally do. I went from teahouse to teahouse and never slept in a tent. The tracks were also busy with other foreigners. I was at least my own porter though. I also intentionally stuck to more established routes, so I would not have to deal with difficult logistics or a language barrier. I tried to enjoy the experience for what it was and the culture, as I knew it would not be a remote wilderness experience and could not impose my own hiking preferences on a different part of the world.

I have not had time to do a full writeup of my Nepal trips, but my they included:
