The Boston Marathon & Maine

The Plan

The finish line for the Boston Marathon on Boylston Street

On April 19th I will fly from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Boston to meet my mom, aunt, and uncle I will retrieve my Boston Marathon registration packet and peruse the city. The next day we will watch the Women’s US Olympics Marathon Trials (in which someone from Cedar Rapids is competing). On Monday I will run the 112th Boston Marathon setting a new PR. After a great race, I will recover hanging around Boston and enjoying the company of my family. Afterwards, we will head to Maine where my aunt and uncle reside. Although it will still be cold, I will spend the rest of the week enjoying day hikes around various parks in Maine. On Sunday the 27th, I will fly back to lovely old Iowa and return to the real world.
