This is a mostly complete list of everything I took with me into the Boundary Waters. I actually carried a little more than when I backpack, since the gear would be in the canoe most of the time. WARNING: This is not a recommendation or complete list of what you need to bring into the wilderness. You may need more or less. Consult with an experienced paddler before attempting anything. This list is mainly a record for myself, which I am also posting online.
