Along with the Osceola & St Croix Valley Railway, the Minnesota Transportation Museum also ran the Jackson Street Roundhouse. The trains for the Osceola Railway were actually serviced there. This was a major roundhouse before it was shutdown. The building itself was almost fully restored. They also had many old cars on display and were working on restoring others. The most ambitious thing I saw was the restoration of an old steam engine, which at the point I saw it, looked mainly like a bunch of rusted metal, with half of the needed pieces missing. I really must give credit to the people who were putting the countless hours that will be needed to restore that.
