Although not directly related to train history in Minnesota, the Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club was located mainly in Minnesota. This fits into my train section because besides liking trains, I also really enjoy building with Lego bricks. As I kid I had a pretty nice collection, and I hoped to build on that after I graduate from college and get my own place with room for it. Anyway, I did not seen their layout, so all I can really tell you is to look at their website, and this picture of their trailer I spotted at the Jackson Street Roundhouse. Also, someone from my church I attended was a member. Unfortunately my inside connection did not enable me to view their layout before heading home. They set it up the weekend after I left at Mall of America. It was not their entire display though, so it was not like I missed everything. One day though, I will have to see it.
And here is another picture of me by a big Lego block by Mall of America. The sweat stains are because I had been riding my bike back from the Zoo and had my backpack on.
