The weekend before the trip, we went to Turkey Run in order to make sure that we had all our gear and get used to the idea of carrying a backpack around. I had been to Turkey Run many times before so there is not a lot of interesting information to report from that day. We did find out our tents were pretty small, so we would have to use the other pair that OVC had. I was really excited and looked forward to backpacking.
